The food is amazing here, we found something that is not spicy: sizzling squid and sweet & sour pork. The service is 5 ⭐, they are very welcoming and nice, highly recommend!

The spicy chicken cubes were definitely worth trying—super crispy and full of flavor. The crab meat fried egg was tasty and well-seasoned. The stir-fried cabbage, though, was a bit too oily for my liking.

It’s great that this restaurant stays open late, making it a convenient dining option. However, I’m not entirely sure if the cuisine leans more toward Penang Chinese or traditional Chinese dishes. The restaurant is relatively clean, but at some point during our meal, we noticed a sewage smell. We weren’t sure if it came from a neighboring dish or the building’s plumbing. We ordered the pot cabbage, spicy frog, and fried vinegar pork. Of the three, the spicy frog stood out—it was flavorful and well-prepared. I’d definitely recommend it!

The fish and chicken porridge is a 10/10. Portion is jumbo size with a lot of the fish chicken mushroom veggies. And condiments are very tasty. Aunty Jane/Janet the cashier is also very nice and friendly. Would love to visit again when in Penang! 10/10

This is hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants for families and friends who enjoy a wide variety of flavours. My family who loves stronger flavours enjoyed all the dishes we ordered: frog porridge, dried pot cauliflower, salted chicken, shredded cucumber, garlic pork rib, stir fried kangkung, lemon hot sour fish soup (snapper), yogurt yellow peach sago, mango pomelo sago. Shoutout to Jenny and team for taking great care of us!

We had heard a lot of good reviews about this restaurant, so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. We ordered the braised pork belly, dry pot cabbage, and boiled okra. At first, the food tasted quite good, but overall it was too oily, too salty, and too heavy. These dishes definitely need to be eaten with white rice, otherwise the flavours were quite overwhelming for us. The braised pork belly in particular was way too salty on its own. There was also a thick layer of oil on top of the dry pot cabbage. The overall condition and decoration of the restaurant felt a bit old. The speaker near our table was already broken, and the music kept cutting off, which was quite annoying during our meal.
